RIDGEWAY – A Medina teen who is autistic and bipolar triggered a search after wandering into a wooded area on a 100-acre tract of land in the Town of Ridgeway early Saturday night.
The youngster was found by his father and Deputy T.C. Marano and returned home about 6:40 p.m., Orleans County sheriff’s deputies said Sunday. He was not injured.
Joining deputies in the search were state Department of Environmental Conservation officers and firefighters
from Ridgeway, Albion and Lyndonville, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
