Three local governments in Erie and Chautauqua counties will receive state grants for collaborative water projects, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced Tuesday.

The funding includes $400,000 for the consolidation of West Seneca water districts and their transfer to the Erie County Water Authority; $360,000 to the City of Dunkirk to form the Chadwick Bay Regional Water System; and $49,500 to the Village of Hamburg to study possible consolidation with the Erie County Water Authority.
