For eight weeks this summer, Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center will offer youngsters an educational way to spend their days.

The camps are offered to eight to 12-year-olds.

Science Adventure Day Camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7-11, July 21-25, Aug. 4-8 and Aug. 18-22 at the Penn Dixie site and costs $180 per non-member camper and $155 for family members.

The Dinosaurs, Fossils & Nature Science Summer Day Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 14-18 and Aug. 11-15 at Penn Dixie, Past & Present Science and Nature Store and Evangola State Park, during which youths will explore geology, fossils, dinosaurs and nature for $180 per camper.

Science Safari Summer Safari Day Camp will be at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 28 to Aug 1 and Aug. 25-29 at Penn Dixie, Evangola State Park and Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve. Kids can explore geology, fossils, wetlands and nature throughout the week’s activities for $180 per camper.
