Not-for-profit agencies in Buffalo and Western New York have been invited to apply for grant funding from the proceeds of the 2013 Decorators’ Show House, sponsored by the Junior League of Buffalo in partnership with The Buffalo News.
Application guideline packages are available online at www.jlbuffalo.org. A pre-application is required and is due Nov. 22. Final proposals for invited applicants will be due in December. Past recipients include the Buffalo Museum of Science Hall of Astronomy, Theatre of Youth, EPIC (Every Person Influences Children), Kleinhans Music Hall, Hospice Education Center, Tifft Nature Preserve, The Buffalo Zoo, Haven House/Child & Family Services, Gerard Place, the Darwin Martin House and Jericho Road Ministries.
The 17th Decorators’ Show House, the Knox Summer Estate at Knox Farm State Park near East Aurora, raised $300,000. The Decorators’ Show House has raised more than $3 million for the community since 1981.
