DELEVAN – See singing geese, dancing geese and hand-feed a bird or Koi fish on a visit to Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, 5067 Townline Road.
The Sanctuary is open from 2 to 5 p.m. Sundays in July and August and guided tours are provided. Guides will point out of all the birds in the beautiful, landscaped park, which include more than 700 flying geese, ducks and swans and over 100 baby waterfowl. More than 65 different species are represented, including endangered, protected and exotic.The site boasts the two largest covered aviaries in the U.S. There is also a gift shop. Group tours are conducted by appointment Monday through Saturday.
