BATAVIA – A new perspective on the State of the County will be addressed at Wednesday’s meeting of the Genesee County Legislature by the new chairman.

Raymond F. Cianfrini was chosen last month to head the nine-member board. He succeeds Mary Pat Hancock of the Town of Batavia, who gave the annual report during her 11 years as chairwoman.

Cianfrini is an Oakfield lawyer and represents the towns of Oakfield and Alabama. A longtime legislator, he was re-elected last November.

The audience usually includes department heads, who submit their own reports citing accomplishments and challenges.
