Buffalo firefighters were called to battle a blaze at 155 Dewitt St. on the West Side early this morning.
They arrived just as the wall of the home collapsed, bringing down power lines. Five people escaped the home.
Oxygen tanks stored in 159 Dewitt exploded, shaking nearby houses.
One person was treated at the scene for cuts. Damage was listed at $80,000 at the home, which was the scene of a fire in September.
Numerous houses also received damage from the intense heat. The siding on some nearby buildings melted.
Damage to the building at 159 Dewitt was listed at $125,000 to the building and $40,000 to its contents.
