Two Connecticut men pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny this week to selling cocaine in 2011.

Nelson Areizaga-Rosa, 37, and Ricardo Ortiz-Rosa, 41, are the last of eight defendants in the drug trafficking case to be convicted.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas S. Duszkiewicz said the defendants were arrested after being stopped for speeding by a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputy on I-86 in the Town of Ellicott.

Duszkiewicz said police subsequently discovered $60,000 in the spare tire of the vehicle the defendants were riding in, as well as more than a kilogram of heroin, a quantity of cocaine, and multiple firearms.
