A 52-year-old California woman briefly jailed after her arrest two years ago in Hamburg was spared further jail time today by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny on her marijuana conspiracy conviction.

Myra Hight, of Lake Tahoe, the mother of snowboarding Olympian Elena Hight, was ordered to serve three years of supervised release by the judge. When Myra Hight was arrested by Hamburg Town Police Feb. 20, 2012 she admitted the $77,000 in cash they found was from her marijuana trafficking.

Hight was arrested in Hamburg and jailed for about a week before her Olympian daughter posted bail for her. A Nevada woman who allegedly became a government informant in a nation-wide drug trafficking ring led Hamburg police to the parking lot where she was arrested two years ago.
