David Woods, 37, of Corfu has been ordered by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to serve a 10-year federal prison term on his conviction for distributing child pornography.

Carol G. Bridge, the assistant U.S. attorney handling the case, said Woods used on on-line bulletin board system designed for viewing and sharing images and videos of child pornography.

She said he collected and distributed more than 12,000 child pornography videos and some 20,000 child pornography images with many portraying children, including infants and toddlers, being subjected to bondage and rape by adults.

On March 6, 2012 she said Woods uploaded eight videos of young female sex victims. Bridge said Woods’ house was raided on April 17, 2013 and agents seized a laptop and other digital equipment containing images of child pornography.
