Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz announced he will hold three public forums to seek citizen input on the needs and priorities of low- to moderate-income residents living in communities that are eligible for federal block grant funds administered through the county.
The events are scheduled for:
7 p.m. Monday in the Depew Village Hall Council Chambers, 85 Manitou St.
6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lackawanna Public Library Community Room, 560 Ridge Road.
7 p.m. Sept. 19 in the courtroom of the Springville Municipal Building, 65 Franklin St.
The Erie County Community Development Block Grant Consortium is composed of 34 municipalities in the county, excluding the City of Buffalo and the towns of Amherst, Cheektowaga, Hamburg and Tonawanda, and their villages.
The information discussed at the upcoming meetings will be used by the county to help formulate a community development plan for 2014, Poloncarz said.
