Erie County sheriff’s deputies over the weekend charged five people with driving while intoxicated, including three people with blood-alcohol levels at least twice the legal limit and two others who refused breath tests, according to police reports.

The three with the high blood-alcohol levels, deputies reported, were Vernon McCutcheon, 36, of Buffalo, who was charged with DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation, after being accused of registering a 0.16 percent alcohol level; Monique D. Blue, 32, of Erie, Pa., charged with aggravated DWI after a breath test revealed a 0.18 percent BAC; and Debra A. Liptak, 53, of Williamsville, charged with aggravated DWI, following a 0.18 percent reading.

Sheriff’s officials said the two people charged with DWI who refused to submit to a breath test were Brian J. Keitz, 28, of Lancaster, and Donald J. Stevenson, 23, of Buffalo.
