The Erie County Citizens’ Budget Review Commission will review its annual report at 3 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Legislature chambers on the Fourth Floor of Old County Hall, 92 Franklin St.
The citizen commission was created by the Legislature to monitor spending in the aftermath of the county’s 2004-05 budget. The panel remained dormant for years until the Legislature last year made changes in its composition and duties in an effort to help revive the commission.
Its members are: Willie A. Price, Gregory B. Olma, Edward F. Kumrow, Joseph F. Winter, Michael J. Otto, Scott Bylewski, Michael McFarlane, Thomas Earl Webb Jr., Laythanette Shine and Jennifer Diagostino.
The county comptroller, county attorney and county director of budget and management are ex-officio members of the commission by statute.
