Reducing caregiver stress and communicating needs to family and health care providers are among the topics in a free, six-week seminar for people caring for a chronically ill loved one.
A free, six-week seminar for people caring for a chronically ill loved one, “Powerful Tools for Caregiver,” will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15 at the Gloria J. Parks Community Center, 3242 Main St., according to the University District Community Development Association.
The series, which is sponsored by the Erie County Caregiver Coalition, will be presented at the Gloria J. Parks Community Center by the Erie County Medical Center Terrace View Chaplain, Elder Manuel Wiggins, and Susan Wloch, program minister at Trinity Old Lutheran Church.
