A Buffalo man caught climbing out of a window at a Main Street auto parts store with stolen property in his jacket pleaded guilty last week in Erie County Court to third-degree burglary.
It was the 17th conviction for Christopher Gamble since 1983, according to Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III.
Gamble, 49, was on parole in connection with a previous felony burglary conviction when he was arrested Jan. 5 by Buffalo Police Officers Dan Meegan and Michael Walker as he climbed through the window, prosecutors said.
He also has one other felony conviction and 14 misdemeanor convictions.
He faces up to seven years in prison when Judge Sheila A. DiTullio sentences him Aug. 12 as a second felony offender.
