What to know: Ziegler, a confidential law clerk to State Supreme Court Justice Frederick J. Marshall, has served on the board for four years during some of its stormiest times. Quinn, an attorney and former infantry paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, took Ironworkers apprenticeship training before graduating from law school six years ago.

What to know: Potter-Juda, a teacher for Lackawanna City Schools, said her 30 years in education have given her the people skills to return civility to the Town Board. Speiser, president and CEO of FlashFlo Manufacturing, said he understands, as a small business owner, how to keep spending and costs down and budgets under control.

What to know: Best is well-known after working in the Police Department more than 30 years and serving on the Town Board before becoming highway superintendent. Casey, the health, safety & environmental manager at Dresser-Rand, said he would seek feedback from residents on services provided.
