A 26-year-old Stevens Avenue man was arrested for allegedly trying to sell drugs while he was drinking out of a tall boy beer bottle in front of a store at East Ferry Street and Ernst Avenue late Tuesday, police said.
. Malcolm Young, who initially caught the attention of police officers by his street-side beer drinking was charged with multiple felony counts of criminal possession of controlled substances and criminal possession of marijuana.
Stopped when he tried to run from officers, Young was also charged with trespass after the store owner said he had not given him permission to stand near his store. He was also charged with disorderly conduct and aggravated harassment for allegedly swearing at the officers who reported searching him and finding quantities of crack cocaine and marijuana and drug packaging material.
