Village officials are beginning to address repairs needed on the Lincoln Street bridge.

In response to questioning by resident Dan Beutler, Village Attorney Mark Aquino said engineers retained by the village are designing the repairs for the bridge, but it’s uncertain when that will be done.

Aquino said the bridge may be patched by year’s end, with a full rehabilitation done on the span next spring. “The board is committed to getting it done,” he said.

Beutler expressed concern about fire trucks and school buses that need to use the bridge.
