LOCKPORT – A burglar who flunked out of a court-supervised drug treatment program was sentenced to 16 months to four years in state prison Friday by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.
Randy A. Sharp, 24, of 73rd Street, Niagara Falls, had pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property in connection with an April 12, 2012, theft of an all-terrain vehicle from a garage on Ward Road in North Tonawanda.
“He understands he has no one to blame for his current predicament but himself,” prominent defense attorney James J. Faso Jr. said.
“I messed this up on my own,” Sharp confirmed.
