FASHION SHOW: The Eden Boys and Girls Club is hosting its second annual fashion show Saturday at the Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg. Proceeds from the event will benefit the club. The fashion show is sponsored by West Herr Automotive Group. The fashion show, which features a variety of clothing from several local retailers, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the country club, 5324 Rogers Road. Tickets include brunch and the show. PASTA AND MEATBALL DINNER: The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Food Pantry will hold a pasta and meatball dinner and basket auction, with all proceeds going to the pantry, from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church, 2669 Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda. Dinners are eat-in or take-out and include salad, entree, bread, beverage and homemade desserts. The cost is $8 for adults; $5 for children 5-12 years old; and free for children under 5. Entertainment will be provided by the Clann Na Cara Irish Dancers.
PASTA DINNER AND THEME BASKET: St. George Orthodox Catholic Church on Saturday will host a pasta dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and theme basket event from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church, located at 2 Nottingham Terrace. The pasta dinner is $8.
RUMMAGE SALE: Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday at 6298 Broadway, Lancaster. Admission is $1. A bag sale will be held at 11 a.m. Refreshments are available.
SPRING INTO ACTION FUND- RAISER: The Hustle for Health Wellness Program presents “Spring Into Action” at noon Saturday at the George Urban Mansion, 280 Pine Ridge Road, Cheektowaga. ZUMBATHON: The Buffalonian Zumbathon to benefit four Buffalo charities will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in the gym at the Health Sciences Charter School, 1140 Ellicott St. The event will include two hours of Zumba dance fitness, basket raffles, prize giveaways and 50/50 split tickets. FILM SCREENING: The Buffalo History Museum will host a free film screening for the 2014 Cherry Blossom Festival at 10:30 a.m. Saturday titled “Dream Window: Reflection on the Japanese Gardens” at One Museum Court, (Elmwood Avenue at Nottingham Terrace). The film is a documentary focused on the most aesthetically beautiful gardens in the world. Sunday, the museum will host Cherry Blossom Day in conjunction from 1 to 4 p.m. featuring crafts, museum tours, artifact scavenger hunts, live performance and a closing ceremony.
