CONCERT SERIES: The Valley Community Association will host its Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series from 6:30 to 10:30 today at Buffalo River Fest Park, 249 Ohio St. Featured will be the local band Crash Cadillac. Admission is free, and food and refreshments will be sold at the concert, with all proceeds supporting Buffalo River Fest Park maintenance and other riverfront development. No coolers allowed. MOVIES IN THE MEADOW: The Parkside Community Association will present “Frederick Law Olmsted: Designing America and Olmsted’s Enduring Legacy” as its 2014 Movies in the Meadow series opener at 8:30 p.m. Friday in front of the Parkside Lodge in Delaware Park, near the intersection of Parkside and Florence avenues.
