The Clarence Chamber of Commerce is hosting a presentation on taxes and other compliance issues for non-for-profit groups at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Clarence Public Library as part of the Chamber’s Business Round Table Meeting series. The presentation, by Rich Pfentner of Dopkins & Company, is free but seating is limited.

Also, the Chamber is also holding an after hours business blender at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Summit Federal Credit Union, 5641 Transit Road, East Amherst. NYS troopers will discuss safety awareness in the work place. Refreshments will be served. RSVP to Chamber events at 631-3888.

• The Town Board will convene Wednesday for a work session at 6 p.m., followed by a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, One Town Place.

• The Town of Clarence Youth Bureau & Recreation Department is hosting a Holiday Tree Lighting next Sunday at the Clarence Town Park Clubhouse, 10405 Main Street from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Children are invited to write a letter to Santa, visit his toy shop, enjoy cookies and hot cocoa and visit with Santa.
