STOCKTON — A Buffalo man was charged with driving while intoxicated and a female passenger, also of Buffalo, was arrested on multiple drug charges after Fredonia-based State Police stopped a vehicle for failing to dim its headlights on Route 60 Sunday.

Ruben Rosario Jr., 24, posted a blood-alcohol content of 0.09 percent and possessed about one gram of marijuana, authorities said. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

The passenger, Ebony Azua, 23, possessed about 2.3 grams of marijuana, a small marijuana roach, four 325 milligram Hydrocodone pills and two 325 milligram Oxycodone pills, police said. She was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance outside the original container.

Rosario and Azua were issued appearance tickets for Town of Stockton Court on Sept. 15.
