SILVER CREEK – Two youths were arrested Saturday afternoon in Silver Creek and charged with burglary, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s office reported.
Deputies responding around 5:30 p.m. to a call of burglary in progress found the 17-year-old boys at an Elm Street home, police said. One youth was charged with second degree burglary, petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana. The other was charged with fourth degree criminal facilitation.
Both were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned on the charges in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
