A 40-year-old Cattaraugus County man was arrested on drug and other charges after he allegedly twice falsified his identity when Erie County sheriff’s deputies pulled him over on Genesee road in the Town of Concord about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Corey J. Furl of the Village of Cattaraugus was charged with criminal impersonation, criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a number of traffic violations. including failing to use an ignition interlock device ordered after his last driving-related conviction. Furl reportedly had in his car a narcotic pill outside its original container. His car was towed from the scene and he was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending court proceedings.
