Olean’s annual motorcycle extravaganza is in full swing.
Now in its eleventh year, the Rally in the Valley combines charity and entertainment in a five-day lineup of summertime, motorcycle-themed festivities capped by a 130-mile dice run featuring more than one thousand motorcyclists.
Friday at 5:30 p.m. a motorcycle parade will roll through Olean from the Olean Area Federal Credit Union on Wayne Street to Bradner Stadium. In honor of breast cancer awareness, all in attendance are encouraged to wear pink. A fireworks show will end day three of the rally with a bang.
On Saturday, Bradner Stadium will be the site of street festival featuring music, food, vendors, and a “Bike Rodeo.” Festivities run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Also Saturday, there will be a car show in War Veterans Park.
The rally kicked off Wednesday and ends Sunday, when more than a thousand bikers are expected to compete for cash prizes during a 130-mile dice run. Also on deck for Sunday: a corn hole tournament and the final round of “The Voice of THE RALLY” contest.
