ELLICOTTVILLE – A Little Valley woman was arrested on a felony drug charge after authorities pulled her over in the Town of Ellicottville Tuesday and discovered several Hydrocodone pills in her possession, officials said today.
Detectives with the Southern Tier Regional Task Force conducted an investigation and said the driver, identified as Amanda J. Calkins, 25, had supplied several people in the Salamanca area with controlled substances.
Calkins was charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $750 cash.
More arrests are pending.
The task force was assisted by the Ellicottville Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office.
