LITTLE VALLEY – A Kennedy man was sentenced this week to two to four years in state prison on a third-degree burglary conviction, Cattaraugus County District Attorney Lori Pettit Rieman reports.

Tracy A. Wadsworth, 29, presently held in Cattaraugus County Jail, pleaded guilty to breaking into a building in the Town of Cold Spring between June 6 and June 11, 2013, and taking items valued at more than $3,000.

His co-defendant, Austin Slater, 29, address unknown, also held in the County Jail, pleaded guilty to third-degree grand larceny to satisfy a pending indictment. Sentencing is scheduled Oct. 14.

In other cases:

David A. Green, 36, of Bath, was sentenced to two to three years in state prison for his conviction on third-degree rape. He was accused of having sexual relations with a person less than 17 years old in the Town of Persia between July and November 2013.

Justin R. Hand, 27, of Olean, was sentenced to consecutive terms of a year and nine months in County Jail for violating an order of protection to stay away from a person less than 17 years old in the Town of Hinsdale on three occasions in 2013.

Nathan G. Layman, 26,of Olean, was sentenced to one year in County Jail for third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance to satisfy a pending indictment. He tried to sell a narcotic last Nov. 13 in the City of Olean.

Gregory P. Benavidez, 20, of Allegany, was sentenced to one year in County Jail for third-degree burglary. He broke into a building with another man last Sept. 20 in the Town of Allegany.

Jesse S. Woodruff, 22, address unknown, was sentenced to concurrent terms of six months in County Jail for possession and sale of heroin July 31, 2013, in the City of Olean.

Bradley E.D. Gable, 28, of Gowanda, was sentenced to five years’ probation and 90 days of weekends in County Jail for attempted second-degree assault. He was involved in a mugging last Sept. 6 in the Town of Little Valley.

Guilty pleas to satisfy pending indictments were entered by:

Kevin J. Howard, 30, of Franklinville, felony driving while intoxicated. Arrested last Nov. 16 in the Town of Franklinville. Sentencing scheduled Aug. 25.

Melissa A. Mitchell, 22, of Yorkshire, third-degree assault. Arrested Dec. 26 in the Town of Yorkshire when she injured a police officer while resisting arrest. Sentencing scheduled Oct. 14.

Megan F. White, 17, of Great Valley, attempted second-degree assault. Arrested for acting with another person to restrain and seriously injure someone Dec. 19 in the Town of Great Valley. Sentencing scheduled Oct. 14.

Stephen H. Frank, 22, of Franklinville, second-degree forgery. Charged with forging checks Jan. 14 in the Town of Franklinville. Sentencing scheduled Oct. 14.

Jared L. Wagoner, 24, of Olean, third-degree burglary, driving while intoxicated and second-degree criminal trespass. Charged with entering buildings in Salamanca on July 1, 2013, and the City of Olean on Feb. 18, then driving away drunk in Olean. Sentencing scheduled Oct. 14.

Lucas R. Smith, 17, of West Valley, third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Charged with entering a building in the Town of Ashford on Jan. 26 and stealing property. Sentencing scheduled Oct. 14.

Arraigned and pleading not guilty were:

Kaycee Liberator, 19, of Fredonia, and Ricky J. Grant, 21, of Dunkirk, three counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of petit larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of third-degree criminal trespass. They are accused of entering a building in Gowanda with another person between Jan. 29 and Jan. 31 and stealing and damaging property.

Shawn D. Granger, 37, of Salamanca, two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He is accused of possessing and selling a narcotic preparation Feb. 13 in the City of Salamanca.
