A special meeting of the School Board has been called by James M. Sampson, its president, for noon Wednesday in Room 801 of City Hall.

Tenure for administrators, the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan and personnel issues are on the agenda.

This week:

• The board of the Buffalo Fiscal Stability Authority, the city’s control board, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday in the first-floor conference room of the Market Arcade Complex, 617 Main St. The board’s Governance Committee convenes at 12:30.

• Charter School of Inquiry’s School Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Martha Mitchell Center, 175 Oakmont Ave. – in the Kenfield-Langfield public housing development. This is the first meeting since the charter school, which will open in August 2015, was authorized by the state Board of Regents in June. The public is invited.
