The Common Council will consider a request from General Mills to install a fence across South Michigan Avenue west of Ganson Street when it meets at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers.
The fence would be operated by General Mills and would grant the company exclusive access to a 300-foot stretch of public roadway, which reaches to the city ship canal.
The Council will also review a contract for a planning analysis of the Broadway Market, as well as bids for a new elevator and deck reconstruction at the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park.

• The Common Council will hold its premeeting caucus at 2 p.m. Monday in Room 1417 of City Hall.
• The Buffalo Urban Development Corp.’s Downtown Committee will meet at noon Tuesday in Room 901 of City Hall. The committee will discuss the Planing Mill project, a $7 million redevelopment of the old Spaghetti Warehouse at 141 Elm St. into apartments and office space, and downtown infrastructure improvements.
• The Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts, 450 Masten Ave.
• The Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Room 209 of City Hall.
