Uniland Development will request a variance from the Zoning Board of Appeals when it meets at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Room 901 of City Hall for its mixed-use project at 250 Delaware Ave.

The company has already secured approvals for the 12-story office, hotel and retail complex, from the city’s preservation and planning boards.

Also this week:

• The Common Council will hold its premeeting caucus at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Room 1417 of City Hall.

• The Council will meet in regular session at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers, and will hold a public hearing on a name change for HSBC tower to One Seneca Tower.

• The Preservation Board will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday in Room 901 of City Hall.

• The Buffalo Urban Development Corp.’s Real Estate Committee will meet at noon at 95 Perry St., Vista Room, fourth floor. A meeting of the Buffalo Brownfield Restoration Corp. will immediately follow.
