Two men were shot while driving in Buffalo at early Tuesday, Buffalo police reported. Four men in a silver SUV pulled up behind three men at a traffic light on East Ferry and Humboldt Streets about 3:45 a.m. and fired four or five shots, police said.
Robert Buchanan, who was driving, was hit in the upper left back area and Charles Rowell, who was in the back passenger seat, was hit in his neck.
Buchanan continued driving west on Route 33 until he arrived at a house on Monroe Street.
From there Buchanan and Rowell, were transported via an ambulance to Erie County Medical Center. ECMC said it had no file of Buchanan but Rowell was treated there and released.
The silver SUV is believed to be a Nissan.
