A 17-year-old Amherst Street boy and a 16-year-old Northumberland Avenue boy were arrested in a house in the first block of Alma Avenue about 7 p.m. Wednesday after police officers reported the youths had a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun.

Both were charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree. The two suspects were tracked down after police received a call about two men having a gun in the Decker-Olympic area about 6:30 p.m.
