A United Express airplane that took off from Dullas Airport in Washington D.C. headed for Toronto with 29 passengers and a crew of three was diverted to Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Cheektowaga, where it landed safely at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday after a possibly faulty indicator light was found in the cockpit.

Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority spokesman C. Douglas Hartmayer said crews were working on the plane late Tuesday.
