A Jefferson Avenue man already incarcerated at the Erie County Holding Center was additionally charged Sunday by Buffalo Police in connection with assaulting a juvenile last month with nail polish remover, according to Buffalo Police reports.

Derrick G. Jordan, 24, was charged with felony assault and harassment for an early morning incident on Sept. 27 in the 200 block of Crowley Avenue where he allegedly threw nail polish remover in a juvenile victim’s eye.

The incident caused serious damage and chemical conjunctivitis to the victim’s right eye, according to police reports.
