An 18-year-old Indian Church Road man was arrested for allegedly having a set of brass knuckles after he walked in front of and was nearly struck by a Buffalo police patrol car which had the green light on Abbott Road at Stevenson Street about 10 p.m. Sunday.

After the officer-driver slammed on the brakes and confronted Lewis Kaznowski, who lives on the Buffalo side of Indian Church Road near the city limits, it was found he had a set of brass knuckles in his trousers’ pocket, according to a police report. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and disorderly conduct.
