A Buffalo man suffered a fatal stab wound Friday night, and Buffalo police are asking for the public’s heap in finding the culprit.

The 48-year-old was stabbed by another man about 6:50 p.m. while they were engaged in an argument in the victim’s lower apartment on Brewster Street near Fillmore Avenue, police said.

The victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center by ambulance and was later declared dead at the hospital.

Police are looking for a white male suspect, in his 40’s, who fled the scene on foot.
