Alfredo Alvarez-Martinez, 26, of Buffalo was ordered Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to serve a 10 year and three month federal prison term on his heroin trafficking and firearms possession conviction. Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas S. Duskiewicz said Alvarez-Martinez was arrested in his West Side home during an April 17, 2012 raid in which over 100 grams of heroin, drug packaging materials, $10,900 in cash and three pistols were seized by U.S. DEA agents.
