In connection with plans to film a documentary this summer on the murders of children in the city’s Bailey-Kensington area, Area Code 14215, the Buffalo WAVE organization is seeking any parents of victims willing to take part in interviews surrounding their child’s murder and the make-shift memorials invariably erected in the honor of the victims near the scenes of the killings.

The Buffalo organization is part of a national non-profit organization based in Seattle known as Women Against Violent Everywhere (WAVE) that is making efforts to end or reduce domestic violence by increasing awareness of such behavior and by raising funds to benefit the victims of abuse. Persons interested in taking part in the upcoming documentary to be run on local cable television are asked to contact Tracy Cooley at 716-936-3513 or Marilyn Gibson at 716-848-0515.
