Parents, community members and staff will have the opportunity this week to help develop the Buffalo school district’s new plan for improving its most struggling schools.
The state Education Department requires the district to come up with the plan, which should identify its goals, activities and funding to improve instruction at the lowest-performing schools.
The first work session will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Stanley M. Makowski Early Childhood Center Imagination Room, 1095 Jefferson Ave.
The second will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in West Hertel Academy, Room 116, 489 Hertel Ave.
Refreshments will be served.
