The Bills today took OT Seantrel Henderson in its second 7th-round pick of the NFL draft. Henderson, the 237th pick overall, comes from Miami. He is 6-foot-7 and weighs 331 pounds. According to league sources, Henderson had tested positive at the scouting combine for smoking marijuana.

Earlier today, the Bills took Randell Johnson, an outside line backer, in its first pick of the seventh round. Johnson is from Florida Atlantic and was pick No. 221 overall.

The Bills today also took Ross Cockrell, a cornerback from Duke, in the fourth round.

Jim Monos, Buffalo’s director of player personnel, called Cockrell “off the charts smart.” Cockrell was an academic All-ACC at Duke.

Shortly after, the Bills added backup running back Bryce Brown in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In the fifth round, the Bills traded away pick No. 149 to Tampa Bay in exchange for a seventh-round pick and a 2015 5th-round pick.

With pick No. 153, Buffalo took Baylor’s Cyril Richardson, another big offensive lineman. Richardson is 6-foot-5, 329 pounds, and he was the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year for the past 2 seasons.
