BATAVIA – Live entertainment, a chalk art competition and more than 65 vendors will be featured at the Batavia Business Improvement District’s 11th annual Summer in the City Festival from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

More than 400 vehicles are expected for the Super Car Cruise and Motorcycle Alley on Main, Bank, Center and Jackson streets. New this year is the Chalk Art Fest on downtown streets, with artists competing for prizes. There also will be an expanded KidsZone on Court Street with five bounce houses..

The Corfu Pembroke Community Band kicks off the lineup at the Main Stage on Main Street at 11 a.m. Terry Buchwald will offer his tribute to Elvis at 4 p.m. Mitty and the Followers will play R&B for dancing from 7 to 9 p.m.
