A 32-year-old Tonawanda Street man was arrested about 6:45 p.m. Monday on weapons and other charges almost three hours after he allegedly went to the Niagara Street flat of a man and threatened him with what proved to be a BB gun.

Sahai Chan was arrested at his home and police officers reported finding the BB gun in a box in his garage. Chan is accused of confronting a Niagara Street man at the victim’s flat about 4 p.m., demanding money the man allegedly owes him and threatening him with the BB gun and allegedly saying “You want to die?” according to a police report. Chan was also charged with menacing and harassment.
