WILSON – A substitute custodian at the Wilson High School has been arrested, accused of stealing a student’s cellular telephone from a locker area during a recent football practice.

Deputies said that the 13-year-old’s Windows cell phone, valued at $500, was stolen from atop a locker at the Lake Street school on Wednesday afternoon. A tracking device inside the phone allowed it to be traced to a Daniels Road address. The suspect initially denied having taken the phone, deputies said, but later admitted to the theft and returned the device.

Christina L. Price, 30, of Daniels Road, was subsequently charged with petit larceny.
