LOCKPORT – The Niagara County Board of Elections will be open until 7 p.m. today to register new voters who want to take part in the Sept. 10 primary election.

Such voters must register with a political party to be eligible for that party’s primaries.

Mail-in registration forms are available at banks, post offices, public libraries, city and town halls. They must be postmarked by Friday to be included on the voter rolls for the primary. Voters who have moved since the last time they voted must re-register, the Board of Elections said.
