Narcotics detectives arrested a Village of Alden man on charges that he grew and sold marijuana at his home, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
Glenn Shaw, 24, was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in Alden Village Court. He was charged with felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor counts of growing marijuana and possessing a controlled substance.
Detectives executed a search warrant Monday at Shaw’s home on Meadow Drive after deputies received tips about marijuana plants in the yard and drug dealing from the house.
Officers said they seized about two pounds of marijuana, numerous hydrocodone pills and about $8,000 in cash.
