Frederick J. Piasecki Jr.
Candidate for Orchard Park highway superintendent Lines on ballot: Republican, Conservative, Independence
Number of years living in town: 29
Occupation/employer: Highway superintendent
Top campaign platform agendas:
Maintain excellent services on a day-to-day basis and while being prepared to field an outstanding response to unexpected emergencies.
Continue to lower operating costs by bringing in outside money that would otherwise have gone elsewhere.
Use new technologies to maintain high standards and control costs.
Maintain good communications with Orchard Park residents.
Biggest issues facing the town:
With continued development within the town, address the increased demand for services, without increasing the highway tax rate, as we, as a town, stay within the State’s 2% or lower tax levy.
New and costly mandates that the State of New York is passing down to the town.
Drainage issues throughout the town.
Unpredictable and rising fuel costs as well as material and new equipment costs.
