SUNY Fredonia names its first business dean

SUNY Fredonia has appointed Russell

P. Boisjoly as its first-ever dean of its School of Business.

Boisjoly, who will also have the faculty rank of professor in the Department of Finance, will lead the school as it pursues accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Boisjoly has experience as an international consultant in finance and strategy, as well as a business school dean at Fairfield University and Adelphi University.

His education includes a bachelor’s of science degree in industrial management from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, an master’s of business administration degree in finance from Boston University, and doctorate of business administration in finance from Indiana University.
