Scofidio, who holds bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the University at Buffalo, served as chief administrative officer of Summit Educational Resources in Getzville for 10 years. Prior to that, she served as chief fiscal officer for the Veterans Administration’s Western New York Healthcare System.

Reid Petroleum Corp. of Lockport named Michael McCarthy vice president of operations. McCarthy, with the company since 1987, has served as marketing services sales manager since 2001. The Reid Group, parent of Reid Petroleum, is a full-service independent motor fuel marketer that supplies filling stations with gasoline.

McGuire Development Co., a Buffalo development and brokerage firm, appointed Christopher J. Jerzewski director of development. Jerzewski, who has 17 years of industry experience, previously worked for HSBC Bak USA. He is a graduate of Potsdam State College and holds an MBA from Northwestern University.

Raymond E. Kelley Inc., a Buffalo contractor specializing in commercial masonry restoration, recently appointed Steven Sandroni vice president.
