Record number of students to attend Construction Days
A record 1,200 high school students from around the region are expected to participate in the fourth annual Western New York Career Construction Days on Wednesday and Thursday in Lake View.
The event is designed to expose young people to potential careers in the unionized construction trades. It is hosted by the Buffalo Building and Construction Trades Council and will be held at the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 17’s 400- acre training facility.
